Smile Just today ....

I finished an 800 mile round trip to Charolette (from Southern Maryland) with about 1300 miles to start on a '04 Lariat Scab 5.4 litre 3.73 rear axle. After the first three months (picked up on 9/10) I have been getting 13-14 mpg with almost all very short trips (3-5 miles each). On the trip I average 18.3 mpg on the computer. This was almost all on the Interstate or major roads at 60-75 mph. I am happy.

I have not gotten worse than 14.1 mpg.. city or highway.. my worse highway was christmas eve got 14.3... I take that back I towed a trailer and got 11.3... but on way back from job site I got 17.8 mpg towing the empty trailer.... here in West Texas the high winds also greatly affect gas mileage... I might be making an emergency trip to Cali and towing back a trailer if so then I'll post the results from that.
