id let the owner of the dealer know your extremely dissatisfyed and upset with the work (maybe work isnt the right term) and demand that everything is fixed. if they dont say they will fix it immediately then tell them "Excuse me while i call my lawyer". use that exact line, trust me its gotten a lot of stuff done when my family has had a problem. also be sure to complain to Ford.

WOW, the dealer really F@$*ed up that paint job. I can't believe they would return it in that condition. It seems like these days, where ever you go, nothing gets done right. The dealer PDI guy installed my mudflaps and I found they were bearly being held on with sheet metal screws. I had to remove all 4 and properly reinstall them with the correct hardware. Then, I had heated seats intalled on my truck at a local installer, and they put the switch where it conflicted with the up/down of the power seat. I had to get a new side panel for the seat and have them make it right. I also had a 2 ft long scratch in the roof of my truck (probably from the transport truck), but told the dealer to just touch up the scratch. There was no way I was going to have them repaint the whole roof. There probably would have been overspray, bad masking lines around the rubber trim and moonroof, and a bad match, to name a few. It would have been a tough call on your black paint though. I bet the hit or miss paint really showed up bad on black. Hopefully it gets resolved. In this situation, can it be sent back to the factory for a proper repaint?

Given the age of your truck, talk to the GM and/or owner at the dealership and make them give you a new truck. They can find a home for your current truck without it costing them big $$$. Remind them that that course of action will be a whole lot less expensive than the legal costs they'll incur if they don't make it right with you. I think you'd be crazy to even give them another chance to make it right. The pics you have now are proof positive that their body shop doesn't have a clue what they're doing. Stick to your guns and if necessary, stick it to them like they've obviously done it to you.

Good luck.
