The liablility associate with spraying cleaners on peoples cars that damage the point would be enormous. I pretty sure the car wash people considered this before they started selling it. I'm positive that Coca Cola is a much stronger acid than anything in a car wash...

I feel dirty........

Well, I'm new to this forum so I hope you guys will cut me a little slack. Here goes, I've had my 4wd crew cab for 3 weeks and I have failed to wash it yet! It has actually been on a dirt road. In fact it has been on several dirt roads. There are actual bird turds in the open bed without a bed liner!!!!

Can I still post here? Do I need help? Should I really wash the thing three times a week?

Is it really that hard to wash you car yourself? I don't have the "cold winter + salt" problem, as I am in Central Florida, but really... I enjoy washing my car because it gives me time to make sure everything undeneath/around it is still in its original perfect condition and tightened correctly, et cetera.

In cold climates such as New Hampshire during winter where the temps can normally be in the highs of 30 degrees F it is basically impossible to wash your vehicle yourself. Now and then you will get a nice warm weekend of 45 – 50 degrees F and then it’s no real problem washing by hand.

I was hoping it might warm up this weekend but its mid 20’s so Monday I will be stopping by the touchless car wash…

indeed. coca-cola contains phosphoric acid. don't use it to wash your car.

We are having a tropical heat wave because it has made it to the 30's during the day lately here in Montana. The sheet of ICE one can create on the driveway low spot when the temps still go into the single digits at night.

I doubt you would enjoy washing it today in the sunshine with a wind chill of 8 degrees. Its not really laziness as to why we have to use an auto wash sometimes
