Eagle Alloy Series 178 ????

I was looking at the rims in the subject online, and have seen 3 different types at A&R Tire Online Superstore and was wondering what the difference in finish and look of the three different types of the 178 rims are. Between the chrome, polished, and machined, what is the difference, and how long will each of these last. Are they all pretty tarnish resistant? Which one is the better one, cause I dont think i can afford the chrome ones. Lemme know, thanks.

The chrome plated will allways be better then the polished.

BTW---I called on a set of the 178's this AM before I even saw this thread. Eagle said they were a couple weeks out before they would be ready.

FYI, you can get AE wheels cheaper at Big-O-Tires. they quoted me $149 for wheels that are listed at $190 on the A&R site.

Is there anyway that you can order online from them, or would they ship tires and wheels to me in MASS? I was hoping to browse their inventory, but doesnt look like you can online.

I do not have any dealers that are local to me, so I have to mail order the rims. I know that I want them, but I want to see pics of the different finishes of the rims. Also, if anyone had good online prices of places where these rims can be purchased, let me know.

One more thing, can someone please tell me how many lugs and what the wheelspacing is stock on an '04 F-150? Thanks. And if anyone has any answers to my last question above that would be great too, thanks.

the wheels are 6 on 135mm. AE has some wheels, so does Weld and several other wheel manufacturers but that bolt pattern isn't as common as most 04 F-150 owners would like.
