Question Sirius Sat Radio Availability?

Anyone have an idea as to when Ford will offer Sirius Satellite Radio units or upgrades on the '04 F150?

I assume that this will be a factory option on the F150 due to the sat receiver, etc. Has anyone seen a Ford with Sirius? Does the sat receiver look like the GM XM unit?

According to this info:

http://ftw.truckmoxie.com/news/sirius.asp

The F150 is not mentioned, only the Expy (in full size trucks/SUV's)?

....why would Ford spend billions in R&D and marketing for their most important product launch in decades and not make certain it had Sat Radio availability (as GM has had for many years) .....

Incorrect. GM only recently started offering XM as an option on many of their models. Specifically, I think it was started in 2003.

I must concur with you though. With the F-150 being the world's best selling pickup, it seems that they would target this type of market in order to boost sales. *shrugs*

I just bit the bullet and tossed XM in my truck several months ago... ZERO regrets.

I contacted the makers of the audiophile and they said that there will be no upgrade available since the new stereos have a bunch more wires and a button that says SAT on it. Your only option is to install an aftermarket.
