Called amp of america about Adapter for AUX

They said they are working on one but it is not ready yet. Look at this link. Pretty good idea.

That does not look like a CAN Bus adapter which is what you'll need on an 04 and higher. The 04 have a completely new system and none of the old changer adapter will work with it.

There have been numerous discussions on thistopic (Aux input) and soundgate and blitzsafe are reportedly working on them but this is trickyand not easy reverse engineering on their part.

Fellow user rambunctious has made many comments in regards the the DVD prewire harness which should interface thru CAN bus and into the Aux button on the 04 radios. Then we could buy an oem harness and instead of connecting dvd player we could connect mp3 player or sat radio without fm modulator. This would be ideal way to connect.

I have been following the other posts, and no one has mentioned this company. I called them and they are working on something like this for the new radio.
