so when i push that AUX button the stereo it should be switching to something, i assume probably to a proprietary plug on the back of the stereo? Has anyone crawled behind the dash to look at this or is even possible to get in there with out major dash removal?
I am dying to get home to my truck and check this out, business trips suck, as my 2week old truck sits at home waiting to be driven in some fresh snow....

BP:
i have pulled my dash apart though. I installed one of our DVD players using an FM modulator, since the wire harness was not available when I got my truck.
the outer rim bezel (silver on my FX4) pulls away with 6 spring clips. if you open the ash tray and start with pulling the bottom. just don't break anything, as i cant image parts are readily available yet for service.
but you will find that there are no rca jacks. The Aux only works currently with our DVD player which uses Ford's CAN Electrical buss. there are aftermarket people back engineering the harness (soundgate???) but don't have anything to date that I am aware of.
