I assume that Ford is sending touch-up paint to everyone who has purchased a new truck. Has anyone else with an Oxford White truck been sent Pastel White paint? The same thing happened back in 1999 when we bought my wifes Mercury. We never did use it on the car and instead bought some oxford white at WalMart. Anyone try this Pastel out yet? I want to know if it matches-otherwise I guess I will toss it in the garbage.

 

I havent gotten any touch-up paint yet and it has been two months. Where's mine????????????

 

Should arrive any day. I have had my truck a couple of days more than two months and it arrived yesterday.

The same thing happened with my '01 oxford white Cobra, dealer swore it was a match. White is a hard color to touch up.

 

Same thing happened to me on mine, Have the Blazing Yellow truck, but ford sent me scorching yellow touch up paint,

 

Does anyone know if they are sending BOTH colors for those of us that have two tones? Mine is an FX4 with Bright Red and lower dark grey.

 

I only got the main color.. mine is the yellow/ mineral grey combo and only got the yellow

 

I got touch up paint for my truck today. They just sent black, which means I'm sure to get the 1st noticeable chip in the Az. Beige.

 

Got mine today too - just got the black even though I have two tone. Cant complain, though........

 

Go to your closest local Ford dealer and exchange for the right color ????

 

2 months and 6 days and no paint yet.

 

FYI - the Oxford White and Pastel White will not match. My 1991 Mustang is Oxford White and when I was about to touch up a spot with a new bottle of touch up (not Oxford White) it wasn't even close. Ended up just tossing it in the garbage can and went down to Ford to buy the Oxford White touch-up.

As said above, white can be tough to match.
