Last week I got my white ARE LSII tonneau and it was a very close match to the oxford white. One thing I noticed was there was no edging on the front curved sections as is on the edge of the sides and back. Looks kind of rough in my opinion. The dealer said that all the 04s are without it there. Can anyone confirm this?

Ditto if you mean that the edging wrapped around the curved front "bullhorns" about 2 inches and quit.

 

Guess they are all the same this year. A nice lid like that and they cheap out on a little edging. Hmmm. For what it's worth I'll voice my opinion to the manufacturer. Thanks guys.

 

After refusing an install of an LSII recently due to poor fit and paint defects, I emailed A.R.E. what I considered to be a positive and constructive letter regarding fit, finish, and design. I received an auto acknowledgement, but no further reply from a representative. Some retailers in my area have told me that they have dropped or are considering dropping the line because of poor factory support re:warranty issues.
