dont have VIN yet but dealer gave me 1-800 number to call with dealer code and order number and all that---it said it is supposed to be built on week of Dec 8th and it is "locked in" for Dec 9th---is this the produced date and at a guess am I looking at maybe three weeks after that date as maybe taking shipment? Also, he says it wont have a VIN number until next week---does this sound right?? I am having a DVD put in and they didn't start these until Dec---thanks for the help

From my understanding a PHYSICAL body coming out of the ASR needs to be assigned to your order before you get a VIN.

(The ASR is a buffer between Paint and Final Assembly where painted bodies are stored)
