I had a couple of firsts with my '04 Scab Lariat, 3.73, 5.4. My first extended trip took me from Florida to North Georgia and I had 18.9 mpg on the way up and 19.9 on the return trip. That kind of mileage in the first 1500 miles suits me fine.

Then I tried my first travel trailer pulling experience with the new truck. Wow! My 6200 pound trailer was behind me because I could see it in the mirror, but it seemed as if I was rolling along without towing a thing. It was an impressive performance.
