Toughest Decision When Ordering?

Thought it would be interesting to see what was the toughest thing for most people to decide on when placing their order. Out of body style, interior and exterior color's, options, etc.

My toughest choice was body color.

All the other choices were fairly easy (although I did second guess the interior color way after placing the order, ended up being too late to change anyway)

My toughest choice was whether to go with the 2004 or take those big 2003 rebates. I went with the 2004, no regrets.

I agree with you. The body color was the toughest. I currently own a black 2000 F-150 XLT 4X4. I love black but it is a pain to keep clean and I am very annal about that. But when clean it is sharp looking. I ordered the Silvermetallic/Dark Shadow Gray which IMO is very sharp looking. I seen a bright red two tone today and man was it sharp also. As far as options, I order and deleted the bright tubular running boards. I like the chrome boards better. Since placing my order I added the audiophile, reverse sensing system and heated mirrors after reading a lot of the threads on this forum.

Screw FX4 Silvermetallic/Dark Shadow Gray
5.4 L
Medium Flint Sport Cloth Bench Seat
3.73 Ltd Slip
LT 275 OWL A-T
18" Mach Alum
Power Moonroof
Trailer Tow PKG
AM/FM/6-CD
Two-tone
Audiophile
Reverse Sensing System
Heated Mirrors

Did anyone choose yellow? I haven't seen a single yellow one on the road yet.

i've seen several yellow ones on the roads here in souther california. they look sweet.

the toughest decision for me was whether to go with the Lariat or FX4. I went with the Lariat and I am very pleased with it. I'm sure I would have been pleased with the FX4 too, but that black grille was not my taste.

The hardest choice for me was between getting the interior I wanted with the Lariet, or getting the bed lengeth (8') I wanted with the XLT supercab.

choosing exterior color

I had a tough time deciding on the exterior color. I really want Island Blue/ AZ Beige again, but theres no chance of that happening.

I originally ordered Aspen Green with the AZ beige trim. A few days after I placed the order, I stopped at another dealer and they had a truck sitting there that was solid Aspen green. It looked a lot different on the truck than it did on that tiny paint chip. It was just to dark for me. Parked right next to the Aspen Green colored truck was a Dark Toreador Red/AZ Beige truck. I looked it over and decided to go home and call the dealer and have him change my color choice.

Still clean and unscheduled as of 11-29-2003 (30 days and still no VIN!

Choosing interior is hardest. Tan looks great but
shows more dirt and wear/tear factor.

My toughest decision was moonroof or rail system. Everything else was no problem. From the first time I seen the truck at the Philly uto show last year I knew what I wanted in and out. And the YELLOW is awesome...OLDNNEW check out my gallery.

The hardest decision for me was going for the SCab or SCrew FX4. Being single I thought I might not need all that back seat space in the SCrew. Not counting the Xtra $$. I went with the SCrew. Couldn't be happier with my decision. I not only like the look of the SCrew but the Xtra room in back, to lock up my valuables out of sight when hunting and fishing, has already come in handy.

I might add that all the 2004 F150 models look great.
