incentives - 0% for 48months + 500$ back
Personally, I'm not so sure if Ford can even really afford to do any "strong" incentives to compete with everyone else right now. If it was just a new year model (meaning no real distinct changes to the truck) then incentives would be easy because their cost to build wouldn't have rised so they wouldn't have to make the money back. They first need to make their money back on the new style and then the incentives will come.
I can see that happening maybe as early as the end of this year or possibly around February (people seem to like doing stuff around Valentines)
0% for 48 and $500 wouldn't fly too far in the US. Most people do 60 month and have $500 in their pocket when they go to the dealer. not to mention they could probably just get the car's price lowered for another $500 to entice the seller that they'll buy right then and there hehe

sounds like the truck isnt selling as well as hoped in Canada.
Part of it is they wanting nothing in the way of launching this truck and winning the sales title again. As a result, its only recently that dealers are starting to get the value oriented '04 Heritage trucks in stock.
SO I can imagine a lot of people didnt buy Fords as the '04 has no or minimal incentives while Chev and Dodge are still giving away the farm.

Hello MXZ600
I jsut purchased my truck on Tues. N-25. I took loan for 48 M and paid 2.9%. My dealer did not know of any lower rates. Where are you finding 0% for 48. Ford.ca still is using 2.9 for 48 M. Do you know something the rest of us in Canada do not know.

Well here at the dealers its 1.9 48 months $1000.00 cash discount for the F150 2004
now they do run a ad in the newspaper of 0% 48 months on most select 2004 models but this doesn`t include the F150 as of yet
bought mine for cash X-plan $1000.00 cash disccount
at that time they offered the 1.9 for 48 can`t remember if it was $500.00 or $1000.00 discount wasn`t interested really

I put $10g down (I sold my 1999 F-150 in the newspaper). I also recieved $1000 loyalty and another $500 from a coupon I had been saving for 3 years. I financed the rest at 0.0% for 36 months. I was pretty happy.
I live in Newfoundland, and it was in last weeks Saturday Paper, 0 for 48 months, i called the dealer and reasured myself of it, then i got the dealer to start looking for my truck. Im thinking that with the canadian kicking the American dollars A$$ Ford USA can offer some incentive to ease there guilt of the rising dollar and not the dropping sticker price!

In Seattle I got $500 back with the X-plan. Evidently the new incentive came out the morning I went in to pick up the truck. What luck! What timing!
