Unlock Passenger Door With Key?

I thought it was odd when I first noticed it, but like pepatrick, my locks, except for the tailgate, have never seen a key either. Since most everyone has their remote and key on the same ring, Ford may have decided that it wasn't needed.
My guess is that the new 5.4 3V is much more expensive to produce and this is one small way of offseting costs. Other minor corners cut include: El-cheapo floor mats, unpainted door handles and no hood light.
But there are so many improvements to more important stuff that I can forgive a few small skimps here and there.

Now why the f$#@! would ford put keyed entry on both doors on one model and not others. I swear those idiots down at ford are so hell bent on makeing each model so differant that they are doing some pretty stupid things. I don't think it would be any cheaper to have to have two differant doors being built one with keyed locks on the pasenger side and one without.

If one were to accidentally leave the headllights on, or the inside dome light on, and the battery ran down on a cold winter night, would the key fob still activate the electric door locks in the morning?
NOT!!!!
So can you see yourself scratching through the snow to find the hole to stick the key in, which might be frozen shut? By the way, guess where the ice brush is...its in the truck.
I love it!!!
