Or you can open the regular emblem and replace the blue with any color - or even little carbon fibre or whatever else you want -- for the cost of paint/material and 5 minutes.

How simple is this to do? I would love to turn mine black...

Question vocabulaic

How easy is it to remove the emblem and change the blue to black? I do not want to attempt this until I am 100% sure how to remove the cover?

Do you just pry it apart with a thin knife or does it just clip apart or what?

It pries apart... I found a walk-through when I redid the emblems on my old Ranger online... Can't remember what page it was - or even my exact search line - but it was found easily through google.
