Talking Ford did it right

I am new to this forum, but not new to trucks. I am not brand loyal. I just purchased a GMC Yukon XL Denali for my wife to haul kids, gear and such. I have owned many types of trucks. Actually Ford has not been my first choice for vehicles but this new F150 is the best engineered and designed truck I have ever driven. Everyone may have some dislikes about this vehicle, but Ford has incorporated innovations never seen in the truck market that may have rubbed off from parent companies Lincoln, Volvo, Jaguar & Land Rover. Sorry anti Ford and anti big 3, Ford did it well. Ordered 10-3, build date 12-1, worth the wait.

Hear, hear! I've also not been the most brand loyal person either. Even then, for the most part I have tended to be more partial to GM products. I too though think that the new F150 is by far the best full sized truck available right now. I've taken a pretty long (compared to most other dealerships I've been to) test drive in one and sat in numerous variations of the new models. I'm extremely impressed overall with the new trucks. Ford has really pulled out all the stops on this one!...well, okay, maybe not all the stops...but there is nothing out there that comes close to this model.

It will most likely only be a matter of time before the others catch up, but there is certainly something to be said for being the ground breaker. My respect for Ford trucks has increased significantly and I'm looking forward to being able to have one of these new baby's myself. The wait (as necessary as it is right now) is killing me!

Cheers.
