Picked up my new 2004 F-150 FX4 SCrew just this past Saturday, Nov 15. See more picture of it inside and out by clicking the "My Gallery" link in my signature.

BrewMaster saw it! :-) The tonneau cover is made by Truxedo. I like it much better than the Access cover that I had on my 2001 SCrew.

SilvrDrgn,

Great job - on both your new truck and the gallery you put together.

The custom graphics look sharp. The Truxedo looks really good, too. It didn't take you long to make this truck uniquely yours.

Thanks for including the link for where you found your hitch cover.

Congrats ,

John

Sharp looking truck, I like the custon design on the side. I like that bed cover you have installed. I was wondering if the truxedo cover locks like the access cover. Does it also keep water and snow out? How is the material on that cover? What bed cover did you have on your old 01 Screw?

Thanks

Thanks! Technically, there is no lock on either the Access or the Truxedo tonneau cover. It's simply a latch that holds the rear support rail in position when the cover is unrolled fully. I had an Access cover on my 2001 SCrew, and it was extremely difficult to release the latch in order to roll up the cover. The Truxedo is very easy to release and use. Both covers are made of what appears to be some heavy duty canvas and/or vinyl material. Never had a problem with the strength or durability of the material. The Access cover appeared to leak at the front of it (right behind the cab). The Truxedo appears to keep water out better due to more/better seals.
