Got a letter from Ford the other day. Test drive a 2004 F-150 and get a $50 gift certificate from Cabela's. Took it in and had the dealer validate it. (I've been test driving mine ever since the 17th of September).

My dealer had a similar deal.

I got a $400 coupon good toward the purchase of ANY F-Series truck simply by test driving a new F150. At the time I was undecided between the F250 and F150, but the test drive turned me toward the F150.

I came back to do the deal a couple of weeks later during another promotion and got a $200 Gas grill plus $1000 more in trade than the other3 dealers I was working with (still pathetically low IMHO). Add a CD, T-shirt and show tickets (don't ask) that the Radio station doing the simulcast was giving away, and I didn't come out too bad. All of this on top of X-Plan!!

That was 2 months ago and I'm still waiting for it to show up. Hopefully it will be built this week...
