Question Power Steering Whine/Idle In Drive Vibration

Just curious as to whether any one has noticed power steering pump whine. Also, my truck has an interesting vibration that sets off the right seat-back pretty badly while idling in drive. Any one else seeing this? I have about 2500 trouble free miles so far but the pump whine has me concerned.
Thanks for any responses!

No whine from the pump, but I do feel a slight vibration when I'm stopped. Feels like a cell phone set to vibrate.

Thanks for the replies.....
I have driven 2 vehicles that exhibit these two issues and have now spoken to 3 other owners specifically about the whine. It's not bad now, but I suspect it will get louder in time. I'm hoping that once Superchips releases their Micro Tuner that my vibration issue will go away. It seems like the base idle needs to go up 25-50 RPM then the vibration vanishes.

I spoke to the shop manager about the vibratrion when idling. He said that basically it is caused by the Pulse Width Modulation that Ford uses for the fuel injection systems. He said that alot of customers had asked about it as well and that it was just a characterisitc of the truck and of most other Ford vehicle for thepast several years. I have an 02 Ranger with the 4.0 goat in it and I took it back 2x when I forst bought it cause I thought it should idle alot smoother than it was.......just some FYI. Hopefullthis will not be the case with the new f-150s though. It is too good and too nice looking of a truck to have little things like that going on.
