Talking Just something to make everyone jealous.

Just want to let everyone know how much rebates I recived when I bougt my truck. $1000 owner loyalty rebate. Plus $750 military discount. Plus I did not have to pay the full registration fees in California (only $40 vs. $816). Non resident military are exempt from all the extra fees and B.S. residents have to pay. All this on top of X-plan. I think I made out pretty good.

Not trying to brag. (well maby alittle ) Just thougt any one else in a similar situation would find this info useful.

but what's the ending price on your truck You can always get tons of rebates on a marked up vehicle and you still could end up spending more than other people

So...the final price of your truck was..

He said he got it on X-plan, X-plans are not marked up but rather a set price, which is very close to invoice, or maybe 2% over invoice...

I've been working with a dealer here for a while. I told them outright that I wouldn't pay more than invoice minus rebates. And rebates are $1000 (loyalty), $750 (military), and $500 (AQHA).

Gotta love $2250 under invoice!

Now I just need to find a truck!

No offense, but I think I've got you ALL beat!

-Ordered my 04' Lariat for $200 UNDER invoice (no x-plan)
-$750 Military
-$450 Recent college graduate
-$500 AQHA discount

AND, I might not have to pay all of the fees you speak of because I am in the military and purchasing the car outside my state of residence/employment!

If that's true (the dealer is checking on it), I'll have bought the 04' truck for about ~$2700 under invoice.

I think I did pretty good!

Rebates

Is the loyalty rebate only for current owners? I had a 98 F150 but sold it last year. If so, can I combine it with the Military rebate and recent college grad?
Thanks for any info
