Cool PWG Modded Lariat SuperCrew

Thought I would pass along a link to an nice write-up on a customized '04 by Performance West Group. The article is on PickupTruck.com's web site.

I really like this truck. Not too over the top in terms of styling and while it has BF Goodrich LT355/55ZR22 G-Force T/A steel belted radial tires on 22 x 10 Oasis Alloy wheels, the only suspension mods were a spring lift utilizing Rev Tek’s billet aluminum spacers (same idea as the Daystar). Awesome Sprectraflair Holographic Metalflake Fine Grade ‘Quicksilver’ paint, which serves to remind me what a pisser it is, that Ford doesn't offer the Lariat in silver or grey paint. Painted and mirrors and door handles echo the other Ford miss. Not totaly enamored with the Zenon body kit, and not so sure I would be willing to cut the frame just route the side exhaust, but ya gotta give PWG credit for making a really sweet package. And saving the best for last... it has a twin screw Kenne Bell supercharger that is reported to put out 450 horses with 495lb.ft. of torque. Comments?

BTW, the Xenon body kit is the same one shown as a rendering, in a thread Freddie started several month ago in this forum.

Overall I love it. Cutting the frame for an exhaust mod though? I agree on the body kit too, it's ok, but nothing spectacular. If I could have anything off that truck (aside from the supercharger of course) it would have to be the body colored handles and mirrors. It looks awesome.

LOL! Yeah, exactly my sentiment, each and every time I visit PickupTruck.com -- especially maddening, since I go directly to the Ford page, only to have my box locked up waiting for the Nissan ad to display!

Getting back on topic...

Thought a few might enjoy a couple of pics off the Xenon body kit in a contrasting color, so that you can better see what the kit consists of.

The pics come from an eBay seller. The flares alone are $249 and the whole body kit $949. Here is a link to his store: go here.
