In addition, Ford Division is enhancing the $1000 Owner Loyalty (Pgm#3608) to include customers who currently own a 1997 or newer Ford Division Car, SUV or Truck through F-550, effective November 7, 2003 through January 13, 2004.

$1000 Owner Loyalty (Pgm#3608) to include customers who currently own a 1997 or newer Ford Ranger, effective October 22, 2003 through December 1, 2003.

So does the Windstar (mini-van) qualify? Not sure what mini-vans are considered - car?

Also, why do they specifically mention the Ranger?

Hoping I qualify. Mine "should" be in any day now.

I really like my new F150, but I have really had it with Ford and their stupid rebates and incentives. They are not on the Ford website; you have to look for popups??; my dealer did not know about the loyalty rebate for all fords (effective 7 Nov) until the following Thursday (13 Nov); and the list goes on. How do we, as Ford owners, get Ford to stop playing games and lay out a fair deal across the board and not by a "luck of the draw" bought vehicle at the right time so you "win" an extra 500 or 1000 bucks?

So what if you have already purchased a 2004 F-150 can you still get a $1000 rebate?

If your dealer has processed the paperwork; and you bought the truck at the time the incentive was established, the dealer should give you or get for you the 1000 bucks. But it is a pain in the ***.
If you were not aware of the "new rebate" would anyone from FoMoCo be calling you to tell you that according to their records we owe you a 1000 bucks? If you believe that I have several items of "great value" that I would like to sell you. :=)
I honestly don't know how to change this but we, collectively, need to get mad as hell and tell someone that we are not going to take this anymore...but will anyone listen??????
anyway, I feel better just typing the message (hahahahaha)

Yes, Windstar is considered a car.

Trust me your not the only one who's tired of Ford's rebates, the dealers are extremely upset with the programs. Honestly F-150 is the easiest one we have. For example on Grand Marquis we have Rebate, AARP rebate, Owner Loyalty, and dealer cash. And of course all have residency restrictions and different expiration dates. The dealers have been screaming about this, but Ford doesn't listen to the dealers.

If you purchased during the time the rebate was eligible you can get it. For example if you purchased yesterday and didn't know about it you can go back and claim the rebate. But if you purchased in October before the rebate was available you can't get it. They aren't retro-active.
