Lariat 4x4 Screw Price

I have seen several dealers in the Dallas area advertising $5000 off MSRP on the new 2004 F-150's. For the ones with the options I am looking for, this would put it at about $450 below invoice. Subtract the $1000 owners loyalty and it comes in at about $1,400 under invoice. Should I expect to get this on a Lariat 4x4 Screw. I am going shopping this weekend and need some help from you fellow Ford owners.

Keep in mind the loyalty bonus cash as well as the new Conquest offer and the reduced financing programs all exclude the SuperCrews!!!

Eligible Vehicles: All new 2004-Model F-Series LD (Excl. SuperCrew and Heritage)

Bigdog,
That's what I thought; Ford's website shows that the owner loyalty and special financing excludes Screw's. But, I talked to our local dealer about a specific Screw by VIN and they told me that Ford's site must be incorrect. They told me that the $1000 loyalty applied to any F-150 up to F-550 if you own a '97 or newer F Series now, without restrictions. In addition they told me that the rates were as follows on any 2004 F-150, including SuperCrew:

Up to 36 mo = 0.9
Up to 48 mo = 1.9
Up to 60 mo = 2.9
Up to 72 mo = 4.9

I told them what Ford's site shows for these and they disagreed. Are they telling lies?

well, they may not be lying, they may just be misinformed. if you can get it in writing from them, you are set. quoting interest rates is dangerous for them. i know in the real estate market if a lender quotes the wrong interest rate, they are still required to honor it. if you can get the dealer to put those rates in writing for you and state specifically that they apply to the Screw, then you should be in business. they will probably renig once they realize their mistake though.

just to give you an idea, i paid about $34,500 + TTL for my 4x4 Lariat Scab loaded up with every possible option. it was about $1000 over invoice (i couldn't resist).
