Dyno Test Today
Dyno Test Today
I am having my truck dyno'd today at 1:30. I hope to get some base numbers prior to any additional mods (although I already put in the exhaust). Will keep you posted.
Let the guessing on rear-wheel numbers begin! And remembem, this is a friendly game, no wagering.

Kuel! Looking forward to seeing some numbers, also, how many miles do you have on that rig? Hopefully broken in nicely by now. Also, hopefully you can post the graph from low rpms like 1000...
Have 2500 miles so it should be broken in nicely. Going to DynoLab in Marietta, GA.

$65 for three runs. I will go back when I get the limiter figured out and the Airaid arrives. The Whipple supercharger will be on my list (as well as a tuned dual exhaust), but I don't want to be the first on the block to replace their block.
wow. that sounds like a nice plan. a tuned dual exhaust will be nice. i want to put dual too, but i don't want to remove the spare. do you have any plans or brands picked out yet?
and $65 ain't bad for 3 runs. i might do that now when my truck is stock and then after i put in a new intake, exhaust and all the other goodies i have my eye on...

Right now I have a custom Flowmaster Cat-Back, but it is a one in, two out muffler. I have both my pipes angled out to the corners behind the tires and there was plenty of room to route around the spare.
Right now Gibson has a cat-back exhaust for your vehicle (but not the SCrew). I contacted Bassani a couple of weeks back and they informed me that they had finished fitting some test vehicles and were going to release a kit soon. I believe that the SEMA show had some headers and possibly some exhaust systems.

yeah, Gibson has had there stuff out for about a month, but I'm not a fan. The 2 Gibson systems I've seen/heard on older F-150s sucked IMHO. They were post 1997 F-150s and the owners were not pleased. I will wait for Bassani or Magnaflow or one of the others (Borla? mmm...).
