Auuuugggghhhh! $#@%!!!

I AM SO BUMMED OUT!!! Dent in the front passenger door!! I went to lunch earlier this week and and when I got back to work I saw this 4" x 10" Dent in the front passanger door! It was not there when I left the office and was when I got back. I remembered where I parked at the restaurant and there was a vehicle on the right when I went in and it was gone when I came back out. It looks like they got me with their bumber when they backed out. It did not break the paint but there is a "flat spot" about 4 inches tall by 10 inches wide, and there was a black smear that came off with a clay bar. Its GOT to go to the body shop......arrrgghh. No one left a note, I got to think that they did not realize they hit me. I have only had it THREE WEEKS, and it had less than 900 miles on the Odometer. I am just SICK. Its gotta go in to the body shop for 3-4 days .

Geez, this is first "brand new" vehicle that I bought for myself in over 20 years, and look what happens. I always bought a used truck for me and the new car for the wife every 5-6 years. Go figure, oh well I just had to vent.

Our condolences, Mallen...bummer. But, don't bet that the guilty party was unaware of the hit. I've observed folks knowingly leave the scene with no notes left on the damaged vehicle. Once, I left a note on the damaged car with an ID of the offending plate number and my name as witness.

Don't feel bad, man

I ran off the road in fog and did $7000 damage to my FX4 SCrew! Beleive me, I know how you feel. Amazing though, I'm still driving the truck until the very hard-to-get parts come in and you can't even tell it's wrecked from the inside.

I'll still haven't posted pics b/c this is my 13th day in a row to work!!! I'm not used to it.
