Does anybody know if there is a way to hard wire into the 6 dsc head unit? I have heard and read mixed stories about using the FM modulator.
Thanks!!!

Hi,

Don't know if it is the same but my avalanche has a 6 disc bose changer as well. I cannot hard wire it into this unit.

I was skeptical about the fm moduluator but after researching it on the avalanche web site and xmfan.com was more than convinced that it would work fine.

Glad I did it. Got the roady and it sounds great.

I started with the FM modulated unit and had absolutely no problems at all.

The sound quality/clarity is unbeliveable and you won't be sorry.

I think that is the way I will have to go. I want to stay with the factory unit so the "Mod" it will be.
I just read that some poeple didnt like it. But you know how that goes!!!
Thanks for the input
