Putco Bed Rails

Anyone have an opinion as to a set of bed rails? I'm leaning towards the Putco Locker Side Rails in polished stainless. Naturally, its for the truck below.

Daeno2 , I have a set of putco rails I kept off of my previous truck, and would like to mount them on my screw, but the problem is, there are no "stake pockets" on the 5.5' bed. If you get them , keep me posted on how you mounted them, thanks.

I installed a set of putco stainless lockers today on my 2004 Lariat Supercrew, they look great. 2004 Supercrews have stake pockets, you have to pull bed caps off to locate pockets measure and drill holes in bed caps. I will try to post pics tomorrow.

Awesome! Looking forward to the pics. I assume this was for the short bed Putco Lockers?

AZTRUCKS.COM PART #89860 $204.95 delivered, takes about 2 weeks. After I ordered mine I found out Leer Truck Acessories in Conyers had some in stock, price was $249.00, If I had not already ordered mine I would have paid the extra money to have them right then.

Do you think it is possible to mount these whithout removing the bed caps? Otherwise the install just got longer since I would have to remove my tonneau which isn't that big of a deal.

Bed Rails w/ Tonneau

Well I'm now in need of these bed rails, but can't find an answer if will work with my Extang RT tonneau cover which overlaps the bedcaps by about 5/8". Any chance you could post a closeup of the how (where) yours mount in the bedcap? I could probably determine the fit by a picture.

Thanks - Dan

I purchased my Black powder coated locker rails from www.realtruck.com for $189.05 with free shipping. The Putco rails look great and they hide the sides of my Access limited bed cover. I also have the N-FAB nerf steps, with a tube diameter of around 3 in. and think the larger 2 1/2 in. dia. Putco rails might look even better.
