I've only been thru one tank and I got 15.3. I figured this out myself. I have a screw FX4 with 3.73ls and 18" wheels. This was great because some of that was involving a little off roading and also pulled my 19' boat about 10 miles. I hope it stays that high.

MPG

I've got a Lariat Screw 4x4 with 5.4L and 3.73 gearing. I've been averaging right about 14.6 mpg for my 60/40 mix of driving(around town/freeways). One thing I have found is that the computer ALWAYS shows a higher mpg than my calculations. Typically this has been about 1/2 to 3/4 MPG. I now have 2200 on my truck.

I am getting between 14 and 15 back and forth to work. I just drove from San Jose, Ca. to Reno, Nev. last weekend and got 14.6 going up and 17.2 coming back (round trip was 530 miles). Donner Summit on Highway 80 is about 7000 feet. All I can say is that the whole trip was excellent. Power was excellent, the seats were very comfortable and that audiophile was cranking. I did not see one other new F150 the whole trip.

DaleF150- Do your numbers come from the computer or from actual numbers (i.e. miles driven, gallons used, etc.)?

Wedgewood - The numbers are from the computer. Each time I fill up I do a mental calculation to check the mileage and so far it seems to be right in the ballpark. ( I reset the trip odometer on each fill-up).

Not exact but within what you posted.

I'm getting 15 mpg - mostly city (suburbs). No computers - just gas receipts and the odometer.

Just turned 1000 miles and I am getting 13.9 with mostly city town (less then 50 mph around town). (3.73 w/5.4) I used to have a Honda Civic so it doesn't take much pressure on the accelerator to get me excited.

I got 11.9 on my last tank which was mostly city miles. 3:73 gears FX4 Screw with 33" tires.

Has anyone noticed how the guage looks like you're low on fuel (1/8 tank) and you fill it up and you've still got 5 or 6 gallons of gas still in it? If you run this thing out of gas, you really pushed it...
