Silver Lariat W/ Bigger Tires & Billet Grill Picture

Found this at autotrader. GIves you a nice view of how the F-150 actually looks with a billet grill... they definitely needed to put a lift on this truck though with those tires...

I saw a dark shadow grey one with the same wheels and lift. I should have taken a pic, it looked really nice

I'm not nit-picking, just observing, but I believe the photo is of an XLT (chrome bumpers & no wheel moldings). Also, I recently saw an '04 with an SS (Streetscene) Speed Grill...very cool.

i agree. there's no way a Screw Lariat with aftermarket work would be selling for $32K. did the autotrader ad say anything about the size of the tires or any of the other mods?

I've seen FX4's for as low as $30k fully loaded with only 30 miles (yes, not 30k miles, but 30 miles)... They even had Ford's pleather. Ford's never really had great resale value...but to see a new vehicle selling thousands less? But I guess one could argue that the price is something easily negotiable brand new if you went to a dealership.

But yea, this one appears to be an XLT

I think the asking price on this one may be a little high even with the aftermarket stuff on it. It is a 2wd XLT which should cost much more than that new. The wheels help, but with X plan pricing this truck is probably around 28k - 30k new.

Yeh, I just ran the numbers, too. Assuming a base XLT (4.6 and 4X2) at invoice less $295 FDAF (the price I got for my loaded XLT) Screw, then adding about $1800 for aftermarket stuff, you get about $30, 140 for the pictured rig. So, there's plenty of profit even without factoring in the 3% (if dealer-sold) kickback from the factory.

No sweet deal here!
