just ordered new fx4, does anybody know on average how long it has been taking to get them?

 

I ordered on 9/11. Truck wad built this week on Tuesday. Probalby two weeks in shipping................

 

The answer depends somewhat on cab style (and other things, of course) since the Screws are built only in Kansas City at the moment. However, FYI, my Screw was ordered on Sept. 2, built on Oct. 6 (or week of), and arrived in Portland on Oct. 17. The build date may be delayed a bit for two-tones other than FX4s.

 

I ordered a Scab two tone FX4 on 9/13. Supposed to be built this week......

thanks for all the info--I did order supercrew--another dumb question--how did you know when your truck was being built, from your dealer, internet?

 

The dealer is notified of several dates in the process starting with the assignment of a VIN. Then, other dates (e.g. build, etc.) are available to dealer...he is your source of info.
