Question on fleet prices...
You can order any trim thru the fleet department. You can order or purchase a single unit as long as you have a legitimate business with a Federal ID#.. What this will get you or at least what i got: no haggle invoice pricing, $300 off (under invoice), and no dealer regional advertising or fuel charge, approx another $300).. It will probably take an extra month to get if ordered as fleet orders usually get a low priority, you might get lucky and your dealer may have a better order allocation. Go to your dealer, head straight for their fleet dept, and tell them what you want. Don't be intimidated by what the website in the other post states as they are for large customers that get extra special pricing.
Do just like Boatmanbuzz said, don't bother with the "regular" salesman, go directly to the Fleet Manager of the dealership and talk to him (or her). I am sure you will get a better deal.
Yes, there are larger fleet customers that can probably get a better price than smaller ones. I work for one of those "larger" customers and one vehicle that I recently purchased was an '03 Explorer 4x4 with tow and off-road packages for about $21,000 out the door.
One other thing to note, any consumer rebates that you might see advertised do not apply to fleet purchases. Sometimes the consumer rebates outweigh the fleet pricing, (especially at the end of the model year).
