Painted Bumpers - monoton FX4

I saw a monotone True Blue Metallic FX4 SuperCrew at a dealer today and it really caught my attention.

I have some concerns about this painted bumpers being prone to show the wear and tear that bumpter are going to undoubtedly take. With bugs, rocks, etc...., I'm not sure I'd actually go with this style or not.

Any opinions?

I went with chrome bumpers on mine just for that reason. I've had painted bumpers on some of my vehicles in the past. I've yet to ever be able to keep them from getting dinged up. Someone lets shopping cart go, backs into you, rocks, etc etc etc...

I had chrome bumpers on my 4Runner (that the F150 replaced) and never had anything wrong with them.

I agree with Breser. Painted bumpers can look very shabby long before your body paint does. It's one reason of several that I went with the XLT. IMO, with the Shadow grey over silver, the chrome bumpers and silver bottom tie together very nicely on my rig.
