The Charger has to weigh more than a Mustang...even a shelby. Not a perfect towing comparison...guess there's not many Ford muscle cars that big.

It wasn't a pull off. It was a commercial represnting an arbitrary meeting on public streets. Gearing, tires, weight all play into the final outcome. The outcome: It was a Ford commerical. Of course, Ford "won".

It's a parody of the Hemi RAM commercial (the one that goes, "oh, you mean the Charger, because it's got a Hemi too"). The first time I saw the commercial, I was on my computer and only listened to the first half of it. It starts out sounding just like Dodge's Hemi Ram commercial and ends with the guys in the Ford truck saying, "you think he realized the light changed?". I looked up only when I realized they were making a mockery of the Ram to see it was a Ford commercial. I saw it again maybe half an hour later. I thought it was pretty hilarious!

I think they should have gone one better and put 2 Mustangs on a real long trailer.

The best way they could of done this is if they had the dodge pull the ford on a trailer, then turned around using the exact same vehicles having the ford pull the dodge on a trailer. The winner of that would give you a true and fair comparison of the two. Don't believe everything you see on tv.

Corvette people !!!!

Daaammnee ! what is wrong with those corvette people in there forum. 13, 17, 18,000 posts.....

Really, is that all they have to do with there time is sit and talk (type) about there stupid cars. I've road and drove new Corvette's (big deal) I would take my Super any day over one of those trinkets.. But I guess living here in Farm country Avoca you have to be realistic about your vehicle purchases, I have 2 inches of mud in the spring and fall to drive down, and 2 feet of snow in the winter. And pull snowmobile trailers every weekend in blizzards to the U.P. and back, Jeez, hard choice....

I don't know what I am getting at, but God, get a life Corvette people!
