Locking fuel cap
Locking fuel cap
I cannot believe these trucks don't come with a locking fuel cap. I called the dealer and they told me it's not even in the system yet. I called another dealer and they were supposed to call me back..the guy said he had just ordered one and that he was looking for the part #. So, my question is: Where can I find a locking fuel cap for my '04 F150 S'crew?

Same thing occured to me within a couple of days of getting my new Screw. I live in a neighborhood where vandalism is common, and a new truck attracts attention. I also am amazed that a Lariat would not have a locking fuel cap. I went to the dealer and asked for one. The guy rang me up, gave me a cap ($47), and it would not fit. After doing some searching around, including inquiring Stant via their web site, I found out that there are no locking caps yet for the 04s. Stant said they will have one available after the first of the year. Sheesh.
for the price of vaccinations and a little bit of food you can get a really mean dog from the pound and tie him to the truck when you are not there. that should keep the vandals away until the first of the year...

When sugar is introduced to fuel tank it does not
mix with the gas.It mixes with the water content
in the gas. With the engine running this not a
problem unless it has 5 pounds in it. the problem
starts when the engine is turned off.the sugar
and water then turns to a soltd rock throughout the
fuel system. Can you spell $2500.00 dollars in repairs.
Sugar and gas not good.
