Siera One your welcome....

Pretty cool that were both on the net looking for advice and were in each others backyard....lol

I live out east in Han**** county and work on the northwest side.

If you want window tinting go to the tint king on 30th & Shadeland.

They do awesome work.

Freddy,

Nice, very NICE! Thanks for the headsup on the new satellite tech. Looks like I will be installing a Tracvision system. Don't forget the pics of your cover.

I was sceptical at first when I read about Zaino, but after I googled it and read more I thought would try it....... all I can say is WOW. A total protectant/Show finish, a bit tedious to put on the first time but easy to maintain. I did not really expect the Claying process to work as it said........ BUT I was AMAZED at how much "stuff" came off a brand new truck that had been detailed by the dealer and then carefully washed by me right before. I got it from www.zainostore.com .

Will the hard cover RUB? My fahter has a tricked 85 El Camino with awesome custom paint and a hard cover, it rubs. Therefore I am left to ask, after a few years will this hard cover rub my bedside and leave weardown marks?

skiultr,
The new models for the '04's fit very snug...Make sure you have a good installer. I ended up going to a different installer to get mine adjusted. When properly fitted it will not rub on either side...

I got mine for $775.00 plus $50.00 for the carpet liner (REALLY makes a difference in appeareance when open). Usually you have to order, as it would be hard to carry tops for all makes/models/colors.

As Sierra One says, if properly installed, it will not rub.

$769 is what I paid too. I added the light for $14. I decided against the carpet.

no carpet, but i did get the autolock feature. it's nice to know that everytime you get in and out of your truck, your bed is locked and or unlocked.

Bedrug is next....

With all the low prices that have been reported I know I really got ripped off. The cover with no options listed for $910.00 it was 890.00 with 20.00 rebate. I added the autolock, carpet, rack (295.00), light and shroud (free). My out the door price was $1547.00. It is expensive to live in San Jose..

Smile Leer cap.

I just priced a Leer cap here in town for 725.00. it is the series 500 not too fancy but I like the look. They had a bed mat as well but probably wont get that. It is about an inch thick foam rubber and carpet formed to the bed ridges, but costs about 275 for it.
i have a large piece of boat carpet I'll probably get hemmed and put in.
