Line-X

Hey everyone got my Line-X last Saturday and it is great. I can't believe it took me so long to try this stuff in one of my trucks. There are pictures of it in my gallery along with some updated pics of my truck.

Love the Line-X! That is my next purchase. Mind letting us know how much it set you back and did you use a coupon?

Thanx,
Clark

It set me back $312.00. That was with tax and everything. I did not use a coupon, but the owner of the place gave me $20 dollars off, for being the first 2004 anything they had sprayed. He also gave me $10 more dollars for being a NASCAR fan, long story. I have a feeling that each shop pretty much determines how much they are going to charge depending on what mood they are in , or if they know you or not.

That is a 100 dollar difference. It is hard to believe that it would be that much more!?

I have mine scheduled for tommorrow!! In central Mississippi its $300 under rail and $350.00 over rail. A lot of folks around here also get their diamond plate toolbox sprayed inside and out for $75.00, if you have a toolbox it really looks great.... better than powder coating IMHO.

They want $408 here (well in Delaware- no tax) minus $20 for the coupon it's still $388. Maybe I need to drive down south to save some money. I would tell the Line-X guy he is too high and ask for a discount but I would fear he would cheap out on the product if I did that. What to do?

Mallen4258, the new F-150 can only be sprayed under rail i think. it has the plastic caps on the rail so i think that prevents over the rail spraying.

You bring up a good point, BrewMaster, which in turn leads me to this question... Would it be possible to have the plastic caps sprayed? That way you wouldn't ever have to worry about them getting scratched up. Has anyone looked into doing that?

Cheers.
