if Lincoln made another BlackWood, except that it would come in different colors, besides black. Higher quality leather, power running boards, power tailgate, power fold mirrors ect., ect.

What do yall think?

I saw an F250 today at the dealer with power running boards, looked like 20s or 22s and some other neat stuff. Must have been a special edition or something.

Well, if Lincoln's previous Blackwood sales figures are any indicator of what they are capable of doing with a truck concept, then perhaps the most appropriate (if not prophetic) "somethingWood" name selection would be Deadwood?

I think they made the mistake of putting that awful box on the back of the Blackwood. What good is a pickup if you can't put anything back there? They should have put a regular box on the back like Cadillac did with their copy of the Blackwood. Look how much more successful it is. Also, Ford is to blame again for poor marketing. I can't think of all the great Ford's that have been retired after a short life because Ford failed to advertise them.

I think their mistake is making it 2WD and selling it for the same price as the Escalade EXT.

Gee JOSEFreddy:

I think you may be one of the very few on this board that could afford a ride like that. Most of us are doing good to afford the prices of the new 04s.

Pitty, there is a guy with a Blackwood in the area where I live and he drives like his is something else. Several weeks ago now I noticed it had been in a accident and it is still not fixed - maybe hard to get parts for the rear end.

Hmmm

Isn't that the "truck" with hideous chrome pinstriping on the tailgate? I may be wrong.
