Question Sorry if this has been asked....

Hi all, my left front door has a pretty bad clunk when going over bumps (lots here in SE MI) The dealership has adjusted the striker but this has not cured it. When I picked up my truk the door was obviously out of adjustment, needless to say, a little field trip to see the rest of his stock showed the same problem (super cab 2wd) any one else have an alignment problems with their front left door?
Thanks!

I saw this one on here before, solution was to be sure to close both doors VERY securely.
Apparently the rear door top latch wasn't latching on someone's scab unless closed hard.

LightningKid, my Scab is working fine, no door problems. are the hinges misplace or is the door hung wrong? or can you even tell by looking at it? let us know when the dealer can fix it and what he does.

lightning, it was my supercab that was having the "problem door." I don't consider it a problem, you just have to remember to put a little extra force on the supercab rear door or the top latch will not catch. The door will stay closed and locked but it will be a loose area at the top where the doors meet and cause a clunking, rattling (I don't know what to call it) noise. Doesn't sound like the same thing you have but I thought I would let you know. Good luck!

When you shut the rear door, pull on it to make sure it is fully engaged in the locks. After that shut your other door. I think it is because the doors are not as heavy as the front ones and they dont carry the momentum to shut like the front doors.
If they are fully latched then it is another issue.
