My Interior Care Experiences

So I just thought I would report that Meguiar's Gold Class Leather Cleaner/Conditioner is fantastic on the black leather seats in my lariat. it brightened up my black leather and it smells pretty good too. if it does what it says it does (protect and prolong the life of the leather) then this will be a match made in heaven. i highly recommend it. it looks great. and it made the seats smooth. i slid right off when getting out after parking the truck. very good product.

i would caution you not to spray it directly on the leather. it doesn't hurt the leather, but the plastic around it on the console and what not get little spots that look bad from the excess spray that splashes. spray it on the cloth and then rub with the cloth.

i used the Vinylex that someone here recommended. it says it is for vinyl, rubber, and plastic. it was fantastic on the vinyl rear seats, but it wasn't so great on the plastic on the dash and the console and the black door moldings. it left streaks on the grey plastic. i need to find something better for the plastic i think. but on the vinyl seats Vinylex does a great job. it is kind of streaky so I don't think i will purchase it again. while it does good on the seats, it should do better on plastic. and it ain't cheap either. i would prefer a product that does vinyl, rubber, and plastic well. any suggestions?

well, i just found that the Meguiar's Gold Class Leather Cleaner/Conditioner also works very well on the black leather chair in my office and the leather sofa in the living room. i love this stuff. now if only i had black leather pants to try it on... ok, i won't go that far. have fun trying to wipe the image out of your mind of a big guy in leather pants...

Anything good for both leather and vinyl seats?

I got confused on the "Cheap Seats" thread, I have a Lariat scab coming with 40/20/40, are the front seats *all* leather or just "leather seating surfaces"?

If I read it right, the rear seats are all "primium vinyl".

Am I correct? or are the front seats all leather and the rears only partial?
