Exclamation They say they may have a fix for the vibration

I was called last night, Friday, October 10 and told by my dealership that the engineers who looked at my truck have been fixing the shudder from takeoff problem in most cases. They say that they have been taking off the drive shaft, inserting some Teflon Grease, and sliding the shaft back in. To me, this sounds like a quick fix and maybe even temporary, what do you guys think? In my opinion, if there is a defective part on the truck they need to pull it and replace it with the correct part, not fix the defective part. Who is to say that they didn't mill the shaft out of tolerance and are just trying to compensate for that. If anyone knows anything about what they might be doing, could you give me a better reasoning why putting Teflon grease in the drive shaft should fix it and if this would be a good fix or if, in your opinion, it is a B.S. fix.

Thanks guys

This may be the fix.

Before the 2004s existed, I was looking at Superdutys and I saw many post in their message boards about this fixing shudder.
