I noticed on my second 04 F-150 that there isn't a switch for engaging or disengaging the limited slip. Should there be a button/switch for this. I know on the Toyotas there is this option. Just want to make sure I got the 3.73 LS that I paid for.

 

No switch on this type of rearend.
It's done with clutches in the rear and cannot be
switched to perform differently.
You may be thinking of an "air locker" which
has this option.
