Question Aftermarket power folding mirrors

Does anyone know of a vendor that makes side mirrors that are power folding? My stupid garage door is not wide enough with the mirrors out.

My first thought when I saw the new f150 is who will be the first to make aftermarket mirrors? The first company that comes out with body color mirrors that actually compliment the lines of the truck will have more sales than they can handle.

Come to think of it, anyone want to invest in my new mirror making company? Its located in my garage.

Use the Navigators, plus you can get the body colored mirrors, just spray it to match the truck.

I am pretty sure the Navigators mirrors will bolt right up. You would just need to wire them to fold in. I am seriously thinking about it.

Wow, really?! Did not realize the Navigator's were power folding, will have to check into that, sounds like an excellent idea.

Thanks for the help guys. If anybody does this before me, let us know how it works out!

Cool

I thought I would bump this back up, maybe some fresh eyes will have some ideas on this? Seems to me that the Navigators also have puddle lights in the mirrors?

I am trying to purchase some Navigator mirrors now. I have a source at a salvage yard, and he said they just got a 2003 Nav. If I can get the mirrors I will post pics.

Well, I had a chance to take apart a mirror for the F150 and it looks like there are provisions for a folding mechanism. I'm on the look out for the '03 Navigator now to verify compatibility. I am looking to retain the stock mirror if it is possible but will do a Navigator if it is a direct bolt on.

Are the nav.mirrors the same size.
They look small compaired to the
F150.

Correct, they are smaller than the F150. That is why I want to keep my mirror head if possible by incorporating the folding mechanism itself into my mirrors.
