Ford Customer Dis-Service

Called about getting and ESP for my truck thrown in for the problems and also seeing if they could give me the loyalty rebate that I missed out on since I bought it awhile ago.....and......I got neither.

What the heck? Nothing....37K truck in the shop and they are unwilling to help me.

Sounds about right for Ford cust svc.

Back when I was dealing with them for a new radiator (because my truck had the wrong one in it). They still insisted that they were not going to give it to me, and this was AFTER the notice had been sent to all the owners stating that Ford would replace the radiator. They are a bunch of rude uninformed meatheads.

A lot of local news programs have something that fights customer disputes and exposes poor customer service. The one on channel 7 in my area is called "7 On Your Side." You way want to see if there's something like that in your area. Media has a lot of leverage that they can use to get you what you want and they may want to stick it to Ford. it's worth a shot!

Exactly right

It really is too bad that Ford regularly shuts us out when their design problems come up and cost us time and money.

I went through so much with my 1997 F-150 and 1999 Explorer that I've vowed never again to buy a new Ford. It's just not worth it when they don't honor the warranties.

As for any news show running a negative story: You can forget about it. They know that if they do this, Ford will pull their multi-million dollar commericals.
