Question Opinions Please...

Hi guys...just wanted to solicit some opinions here as to what color bug shield would look best with the Aspen Green two tone Lariat. To my knowledge, the choices that would work seem to be:

1) Clear
2) Smoke
3) Black
4) Amazon green (Bugflector II from Premier Motoring. This color is different that the Aspen green-might be an old color...not sure)

I'm leaning towards the Black or Smoke...

Any help would be appreciated.

re: the white...I think a white deflector would look the best. I've always thought that with white vehicles...the more you add white to them the better. Same for black...the more black you add the better...and the chrome compliments as well. In the case of the white Lariat, you already have the chrome grill surround...I would not want to detract from that and go with the white bug flector....
Thanks for the opinions on the Aspen Green...I think I might go with the black...

I think that the bug deflector looks good in the traditional smoke color. My truck is white and I think it just breaks up all that metal painted white when you go with the smoke. I ordered a Bugflector II in smoke so maybe I'm a little biased but in the end I do think they all look good.

I've always liked the look of a clear deflector painted to match on the backside. This keeps the finish from getting banged up...all you will need to keep it clean and looking good is some clear plastic polish.

If you go this route just be sure to get a high quality bodyshop to do the painting. One that really knows their stuff. Being that the deflector is plastic, it will be flexing quite a bit so the paint will require a good dose of flex additive in the mix so that it doesnt crack and flake off.

Otherwise I would vote for smoke...my $0.02.
