Undercover tonneau

Does anyone have any experience with the Undercover hard tonneau, waiting another 2 weeks for them to get hardware before I can actually see one for 2004 f150

I do not personally have one but my neighbor does on his 2003 SCrew and he just loves it. He said it is real easy to remove if you need to. I have made my mind up to go this way also. It will be on order as soon as available.

I like the fact they actually put prices on the website. That doesn't happen all of the time. I am going to have to check this out, it's $200 cheaper than a local shop quoted me on an A.R.E.

My dad has one on his tundra, I LOVE it.

One example of why is that it can lift up and down which is a plus, but however it is still very strong, I had to stand on it to put up a basketball net and it was all good.

I'm thinking of getting one for my 98 f150

I just got one installed on 2004 XLT 4x4 supercab. It fits very well and is light enough that I can take it off by myself. The weather stripping is very good too. Maybe the only thing is the latch/lock is not all that strong. But I doubt anyone would be able to open it with bare hands, so stopping a real thief requires really strong. Did someone say they have an email that it's not available for the supercab? my bed is 6.5ft by the way.

I would be cautious of the Undercover, overall it is probably better than most of the covers out there but mine is warping significantly from heat here in Hawaii.

Emailed the company and they state this is normal even though the information on the website states it does not warp. IT has gotten to the point where it is kind of scary to close because the edges near the from of the tonneau almost make contact with the paint.

If you look at it from the back the center of the tonneau is quite a bit higher than the sides, about 1/2". Hope this helps.

I did wonder about that happening. The Undercover is 1 piece PVC or some similar plastic. As we know, all plastic warps. This is one good thing about fiberglass as ARE uses, but try taking the ARE off by yourself.
Good input though.

Way to pull a post from the depths.

I've had mine for about two years and am very happy with it.

I can take it off myself and it is still strong and looks good.

The new ones include better locks and lights.
