but I feel like I am going to scream! My truck is still screwed. Still making the noise. Now they are on the phone with the District Manager trying to get me a new motor. I'm done with being patient. I don't even know who to be upset with. I've acted very polite and understanding on the phone...and my salesman even called to tell me thanks because of it.

Well.. definately sorry to hear about your ongoing ordeal. I would suggest looking into the lemon law and get a new vehicle to replace it. I'm not certain, but haven't they attempted to fix it at least 3 times? If so, there should be a new truck coming your way.

I hope I don't hear many of these stories. Maybe it's good that I'm waiting a bit.

Yeah, but is hasn't left their shop. It has been there for over a week and I am probably looking at another week....at least.

hmm.. that's a tough one.

I'd see if they'd give it back to ya for a bit. You can drive it around for a minute and take it back in. Repeat twice and there's 3 attempts to fix it.

GET THIS MAN A NEW TRUCK !!!!

LOL....

I just checked....has to be either in the shop 4 times for the same problem, or in the shop for 30 or more days.

If you keep taking it back, make sure you get a new receipt or work order every time you take it back. You'll need those to prove it was taken back so many times. The dealer I bought my Explorer off of, kept trying to work around that when I had an alignment problem (Later found out it was related to the big tire problem).

They tried giving me nothing. Then a photo copy of my original work order. They know the lemon law too and ways to get around it. Make sure you know your law and make sure you document everything. (What was wrong, what you did, how many times you took it there, how long it was there, specific dates and diagnoses...)

4 more gurus are coming to look at my truck again tomorrow. If this keeps up I may be able to declare lemon law based on 30 days.

next time you're over there, lock the keys to your truck in the truck. that will keep them tied up for at least 2 days knowing how fast auto mechanics work...

Sorry to hear about your dilema beastboy. I take it from your post that they replaced the parts that you mentioned in your previous thread and that didnīt resolve it? What were the parts that they attempted to replace(if you know)? I am just really curious about what you could replace to fix this sort of "timing" issue as they stated.
Good luck and keep us informed.

The sad part is there gurus are suppose to be the top engineers.

A call to Ford's customer service may be in the near future.

Not sure buddy......I should of asked. The only question I was concerned about, was "What's next?" and "When will it be done?"

My dad had an Explorer one time with a repeated front end problem. He finally called someone at Ford and explained to them that this vehicle was not quality one per their ads. He wound up getting a replacement.....

they really should give you a replacement beastboy. want me to call and pretend I am your lawyer? i can do it without lying, just tell them that "Mr. (Beastboy) has hired me to represent him in this matter." I am very articulate and I can do good by you. Lemme know if you need help. My other offer is to drive a semi into the Ford Dealership, but we won't worry about that one until it is a last resort.
(jk of course, no one freak out)
