I got keyed UPDATE

TWO WEEKS! That is how long it took to fix my truck after some a-hole keyed the whole passenger side. I know how hard it is to wait for your truck to be delivered but believe me it only gets harder when its taken away from you. They removed the passenger side bed piece, supercab door, and passenger door and stripped and repainted them. They do look excellent. I am still waiting on some fasteners from ford to hold the bed rail protector on so that looks strange with it missing.

The good stuff:

The guy was arrested the other day keying two more vehicles and may be linked to 33 other vehicles over the past several months. No, I did not get any "alone" time with him. I hope the court system can come through on this one. At least he is caught.

did they link him officially to your truck? did you report your keying to the cops? if you really wanted to, you could always sue his sorry ***.

they havn't linked him to my vehicle yet but are trying. Now we just have to wait and see if it keeps happening, which would indicate that there is more than one person (such as an environmental group) I hope that's not the case.

That's why I have a bat, a nice wooden bat made from their best friends the tree's. If I ever, EVER catch some nature freak touching my truck they WILL meet their best friends many times over...

Say hello to my lit'tle friend...

that sucks that that heppened, but I'm glad they caught him. I can't stand people who don't have respect for other people's property. I won't touch the crappiest looking car on the road, much less a nice new one.

my dad brought his brand new 7 series BMW to waco to see me a couple months ago, and got it gashed and coked (coke poured on it) at the mall in waco, tx. no respect at all. and it was a busy day so you know someone saw it. they prolly laughed too.

ehh

also, at my apartment complex, there have now been 7 auto breakins....5 in one night, and 2 more recently. my buddies RT got broken into and had his system jacked the other night. it's only a matter of time for me. people these days...

-Mike

P.S. post up if you hear any more info.

Makes you kinda wish the trip gun was legal eh?

Unfortunately, I've never heard of anyone actually catching someone vandalizing their ride.
