For those of you who ordered...

When you placed the order, did you receive an order # that was listed on th eorder confirmation screen shots?


I've placed an order last Friday and do not have a VIN# yet and have asked for an order # from my sales guy... No answer for three days now...

I'm just wondering if an actual order # should have been evident.

 

The day I ordered mine, my dealer faxed me the "Vehicle Order Confirmation" which had my 4-digit order number on it. So your dealer should have that... BUT I didn't get my VIN# for almost 3 weeks... So I wouldn't stress about not having a VIN for 3 days.
Here's my info that I know:

Ordered: 8/27
Recieved VIN: 9/18
Build Date: 9/22
Shipped Date: Don't I wish!!

 

I recieved an order number to at the time of purchase. I didn't get my VIN until the truck came in and I read it off the door panel.

 

I see the following fields in the order screen for my dealer...

Beg Ord: 0002 No Units: 001 End Ord:


Is "Beg Ord" my order number? Does this mean this dealer only has ordered 2 retail units of the 2004 F150?


Seems like 0002 would be an awfully low order #...

 

Order number is picked by the dealer, it means nothing, for example I use the date (if possible) so today I'd enter order #0925, others use numbers at random, but order 0002 doesn't mean that is his second order.
