Blazing dissappointing Yellow
:o Guys, my dream truck looks like a big yellow cab in real life. I've seen so many pictures , I didn't know what to expect in the Blazing yellow...but I was dissappointed to say the least, and I'm sure would be the butt of many jokes if I got the yellow. I guess I'll go with the bright red/ dark grey two toned FX4 Supercab in the 5 1/2 ft bed because I think it looks the most in proportion. I'm glad I finally got to see the yellow but it wasn't love at first site. The dealer keeps telling me to hurry up and order because they aren't making very many. Who's he trying to kid...Ford wants to sell a million F150's this year. Does any one know at what time of year (what month) ford no longer accepts make orders for the 2004 model year?Can any of you Ford employees help me out here?

You should be able to order a 2004 up to June of 2004. That's when Ford has their shut down for the 2005 updates.
The yellow would look cool for a little while anyways. You will for sure be noticed. And you could never loose that truck in a parking lot. I don't know if the yellow is the same colour as the ranger yellow. I can say it is super bright.

While yellow is certainly not the color of choice for everyone, I gotta say, I thought the new FX4 I saw in person last week was VERY striking! May not be your cup of tea, but I wasn't thinking about yellow cabs -- I was thinking how bitchin' it would look hauling a pair of Bombardier Sea-Doo GTX 4-TEC Limited

I drove a blazing yellow FX4 SCrew very similarly equiped to the black one I ordered (that got built yesterday!!!) and I absolutely loved it! I fell in love with the yellow, but agree that it would probably get old after a while.... Black, on the other hand, will NEVER get old!! Ha!

I just got a Blazing yellow supercab FX4 and I must say I LOVE IT... I came from a Mustang GT.. and well it don't have the power of the GT... that will be the only thing I miss... I do get a lot of comedic comments from friends but that is ok.. I still like it.. The mustang was bright red.. and people couldn't see it and kept hitting it.. so I went with the brightest most obnoxious color I could find.. and It turns heads.. which is what I'm after.
