Front end lift

Has anyone got pics of a 04' F-150 with the front end lift installed?
I want to add one to my 04 SCrew but I would like to see what it looks like first.

Daystar has a 2.5 inch coil spring spacer for the front of 4x2 and 4x4 04 F-150's. They have a pic of a new F-150 on their homepage at www.daystarweb.com. Check it out.

At first when I whet to Daystar and looked at the price, I thought $200 for 4 pieces of plastic and 6 bolts! But compared to the current F150 lifts, they are much easier to install and cheaper too. Plus only an hour to install, not bad. Now all I have to determine is if Ill take it in to get installed or do it myself. I dont want to end up screwing up my front end. Also do you think youd have to extend anything? It looks like a suspension lift so I dont know. Probably not.

Perception: I think it might have already been bought, It only lists a couple of Jeep lifts, nothing for Ford.

Question is that a daystar?!?!

Is that picture down there of an '04 with the front daystar lift or a Regency dealer-conversion lift? If it's a daystar...I'm all over that!!!

Daystar's spacers are made of a hard urethane.

take it from the chemist, that is plastic. well, it is on a thin line between rubber and plastic, but who cares. just call it plastic. that is damn expensive plastic. the materials and processing to make those spacers cost all of $10-15. we buy urethane at my company by the bag and it is easy to process. these spacers are WAY overpriced, but they got to make their money somehow. i mean, there isn't a huge demand for spacers so those who want them gotta pay up.

I agree, there has to be a huge markup on Daystar's spacers. But they are still a lot cheaper than a full blown suspension lift. I remember, there was a member at www.jeepsunlimited.com that made spacers for jeeps and sold them to other members. It would be great if someone here had the means to do that.

I think I might want to know what kind of tests these things have been through. You would think if under high stress and heavy off roading, these spacers would crack. Has anyone had any experience with these things?

I've had Daystars on my Jeep since 2000 without any problems. They are a common upgrade amoung Jeep owners and I've never heard of anyone having any problems with them. Daystar makes a quality product.
